Pertama, tekan tombol yg bergambar lambang Blackberry lalu pilih option lalu pilih status lalu ketik B U Y R, perhatikan DATA dan VOICE usage, kedua hal tersebut harus pada nominal NOL.

Kedua, teruskan dengan mengetik T E S T, lalu tekan trackball dan pilih start, centang seluruh bagian yg anda ingin test lalu pilih RUN, ikuti seluruh tahap sehingga anda bisa memastikan seluruh fungsi di blackberry tersebut berjalan dengan baik.

Tips Umum BlackBerry

Sebagai pengguna BlackBerry, mungkin Anda belum tahu bahwa BlackBerry punya banyak fitur menarik selain fitur andalan push email, browsing, dan chatting. Beberapa tipe BlackBerry ada yang dibekali kamera, GPS, multimedia dan hiburan. Bagi pemula mungkin agak canggung untuk mengetik cepat, me-reply (membalas email/sms), mem-forward email dan sebagainya.

Sebenarnya Blackberry menyediakan banyak shortcut (jalan pintas) untuk mengoptimasi kecepatan akses fitur-fiturnya agar menghemat waktu Anda. Berikut beberapa tips dan trik penggunaan Blackberry:

Tips Umum BlackBerry

Untuk kembali ke Home Screen tekan tombol ESC.
Untuk mengirim email tekan huruf C.
Untuk berpindah-pindah aplikasi tahan tombol ALT dan tekan tombol ESC, lalu pilih aplikasi yang dikehendaki dan lepaskan tombol ESC.
Menerima transfer file lewat bluetooth : pertama aktifkan bluetooth terlebih dahulu dengan cara masuk ke Menu Manage Connection. Lalu check box Bluetooth dicentang. kemudian masuk ke dalam Menu Media, pilih Option -> Receive Using Bluetooth kemudian Save.
Untuk membalas Email yang sudah dibaca tekan huruf R, untuk mem-forward tekan huruf F.
Untuk melihat alamat Email pengirim Email : pilih nama kontak lalu tekan huruf Q.

Tips menambahkan Account Email Baru
Sebagai ponsel papan atas nan canggih, Blackberry memiliki kelebihan untuk menampung hingga sepuluh Account Email yang Anda miliki. Jadi tak perlu repot login Email satu persatu saat mengeceknya setiap hari.

Selanjutnya untuk Incoming dan Outgoing dari beberapa Account Email anda bisa langsung menggunakannya dalam satu perangkat ini. Ada dua cara menambah account Email, yaitu lewat Device ini langsung atau melalui Webclient Operator yang Anda gunakan.

Menambah & menghapus Email Account BlackBerry
Masuk ke Menu Utama, pilih Email Setting ber-icon surat dengan gambar gear dan panah merah. Setelah ikon tersebut di klik, maka ada pilihan untuk New User dan Existing User. Bila anda baru pertama kali menggunakan layanan Blackberry, perlu membuat account baru (Create New Account) dan ikuti petunjuk selanjutnya.

Seandainya Anda sudah memiliki Account maka pilih Existing User dan masukkan username serta password. setelah login pilih Services -> Email accounts -> Add An Email Account lalu masukkan username dan password Account Email yang sudah anda miliki seperti Yahoo!, Gmail, Microsoft Outlook dsb. Lalu setelah memasukkan username dan password Anda klik Next. Tunggu beberapa saat dan bila berhasil akan terdapat notifikasi pada layar.

How to unlock the BlackBerry Pearl and enter Blackberry Unlock

Blackberry 81xx, 82xx Pearl and other sure-type handsets

1. Enter the Main Menu by pressing the BlackBerry Logo button
2. Select 'Options' (this will be shown as Settings on some handsets)
3. Select 'Advanced Options'
4. Select 'SIM card'
5. Type M E P D - as the Pearl's keypad shares letters you will need to press the {OP} key twice in quick succession to get to P (you will not see the characters appear on the screen when typing)
6. You should now see the Personalisation menu (if you do not, please see Troubleshooting at the bottom of this page)
7. Type M E P - again on the Pearl
8. Press the ALT key (located at the bottom left of the keypad - this may be represented as 2 arrows)
9. Type 2 - this is the {TY} key
10. A box should appear asking you to enter the Network MEP Code - this is your unlock code, enter it here
11. Press Return/Enter, You should receive a 'Code Accepted' message - If you received 'Code Error', type M E P 'alt' 2 and then try the next code, or see Troubleshooting section at the bottom of this page.
12. Turn the handset OFF then ON again and the handset will be permanently unlocked and can be used on any compatible GSM network, worldwide!

Blackberry Pearl / Storm

CARA CEK PIN BLACKBERRY Mungkin anda belum tahu bagaimana caranya untuk cek PIN BlackBerry anda masih bisa dipakai atau tidak yang banyak orang bilang SUSPEN. Apalagi anda membeli handle BlackBerry second (2nd). Anda harus benar-benar perhatikan. Bagi yang sudah tahu saya mohon ralat atau tambahannya. Bagi anda yang masih awam tentang BlackBerry. Namun anda ingin membeli sebuah handle/handphone BlackBerry. Saran saya agar anda memilih toko handphone yang berani menjamin PIN atau Life Time PIN warranty. Baik itu new ataupun 2nd. Dan andapun bisa meminta untuk setting aktivasi sekalian. Agar dapat terdeteksi langsung bisa atau tidaknya. Beberapa cara mungkin sudah terposting terlebih dahulu oleh rekan-rekan blogger. Namun disini saya akan mencoba mengulas kembali langkah-langkah tersebut dan menambahkan sedikit dari info yang telah ada. OK.....Langsung ajah ea. Cek bisa anda lakukan secara online dengan cara masuk ke salah satu provider kartu yang akan anda pakai ex : * http://www.xl.blackberry.com * http://www.indosat.blackberry.com * http://www.axis.blackberry.com * http://www.telkomsel.blackberry.com Lalu anda coba regristrasi dengan PIN atau IMEI yang akan anda pakai. Bila keterangannya "already in exist" berarti PIN dan IMEI dapat digunakan. Tetapi bila yang muncul disitu bukan seperti diatas jangan dibeli. Diatas adalah langkah yang banyak telah di post sebelumnya. Namun sebenarnya ada langkah mudah untuk cek bila anda memiliki kartu yang masih aktive langganan layanan blackberry. Tinggal masukkan saja kartu tersebut pada handle BlackBerry yang akan di test. Bila indikator GPRS/EDGE/3G dengan kapital besar atau logo Blackberry muncul. Berarti PIN dan IMEI masih dapat digunakan. Tinggal bagaimana warranty PIN dari Toko yang menjualnya. INGAT.....Pilih yang bisa LifeTime PIN Warranty. Setelah itu tinggal ke setting email apakah masih "nyantol" apa tidak dengan account lama. Bila masih "nyantol" mohon lepas data dari pemilik sebelumnya yang menggunakan.
